Artist Profile:
Ron began working on his own style of gallery artwork in 2000 after a successful
20-year career designing corporate wall art. To date, he has created over
30 one-of-a-kind, new mixed media, pieces of wall art. Each piece includes
the use of wood, metals, composites, and paints. The artwork is then captured
in a custom frame that is often tied into the design. But, what sets Ron’s
art style apart is his innovative layering of the materials to create multi-dimensional
works of art.
Biography:
Ron Brejtfus (BRAY-fuss) is a resourceful and innovative artist who began
creating fabric wall art designs in the late 1970’s. Born in Clinton,
Massachusetts on January 1, 1947, the Brejtfus family moved to Southern California
in 1955. Ron’s early design influences included Frank Lloyd Wright,
Mies VanDerRohe, Roy Lichtenstein, and Piet Mondrian. Ron later graduated
from Arizona State University studying architecture and advertising design.
Today, his unique design ideas are completed using
mixed media, including wood, metals, composites, and paints. Balance, space,
dimension, texture and color are important elements of his art, dictated by
a mathematical progression. This delicate orchestration molds chaos into beauty.
This is the Brejtfus approach to art, which has opened the door for his amazing
works of art in thousands of residences and facilities worldwide.
