Artist's Statement:
My work has always revolved around paper, and I have worked exclusively with
my own handmade paper since 1976. Most recently I've been portraying "Mountains
and Beyond," suggested by the landscapes of Alaska, Utah, and Oregon.
I enjoy the invitation to explore just over the next mountain.
Biography:
Marylin Hart started papermaking in 1976 and began the MGH Papermill in 1980
in Madison, Wisconsin. I moved the papermill to southern Oregon in 1995 and
the move introduced new landscapes.
