Artist's Statement:
I've spent 30 years developing my style and becoming one of today's most prominent California desert oil painters. I am inspired by the beauty I see in the mountains and deserts of the American Southwest and by the paintings of the French Impressionists and the California Plein Air painters.

I magnify the intensity of the natural landscapes to express the way I feel about that beauty. I want people to feel that they can walk into my paintings and find the inspiration they need in the moment. I use a palette knife to capture the color and detail of my distinctive landscapes.
